Listen to the rest of the Summer Games EP here.

Two months ago, Brian and Jessie bought an upright bass and an accordion. Both members of Chicago band Renegade Lightning Rebellion, they began adapting the band’s repertoire to a duo format. This song comes from RLR’s work in progress, a companion cycle to their Wallace Stevens cycle entitled “Pirate Songs: Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbeard.” Listen to Brian and Jessie with RLR on their bandcamp (renegadelighteningrebellion.bandcamp.com) and come see them play at Gallery Cabaret on August 10th.

Earn cred, share a bit.
